Grace Jardon is a graduate of the Exeter FFA program. She is one of four National Finalists in the Agriscience Research - Animal Systems Proficiency award area. Grace will compete for the National title though the virtual 2020 National FFA Convention. Grace's Agriscience research project is based around identifying solutions to treat and control the spinose ear tick infestations on California dairy farms. Through her research, Grace has been able to make helpful recommendations to dairymen, veterinarians, and other industry members. Grace has presented her research at the 2018 and 2019 National FFA Convention, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference, the 2018 California Science and Engineering Fair, as well as the 2020 Golden State Dairy Management Conference. Grace is currently a sophomore at CSU Fresno, majoring in Animal Science. She hopes to continue her research throughout her future education and career.
